The same stages from two perspectives

Pick your side and see what happens at each step.

1

Brief and applications

  1. Proposed

The brand sees: The campaign is live. Matching creators apply.

The creator sees: You see the brief summary and apply with a short message.

Nothing to pay yet

2

Selection and contract

  1. Accepted

The brand sees: You picked the creator and confirm the project annex.

The creator sees: You confirm the annex with deliverables, deadline and your rate.

  2. Funded

The brand sees: You paid by bank transfer, from the proforma.

The creator sees: The full brief, assets and chat open up.

Payment is held by the platform until approval

3

Production and revisions

  1. Product shipped

The brand sees: If the project has a physical product you create the shipping label and follow the tracking. For services this stage is skipped.

The creator sees: If a product is needed you receive it without your address ever reaching the brand.

  2. In production

The brand sees: You wait for the first version. The deadline is visible.

The creator sees: You film. The deadline started when the parcel arrived.

  3. Delivered

The brand sees: The first version arrived in the platform.

The creator sees: You uploaded the clip straight from your phone.

  4. In review

The brand sees: You leave timestamped feedback or approve. You have 5 business days.

The creator sees: You see feedback down to the second and upload version 2.

Payment stays with the platform

4

Approval and payout

  1. Approved

The brand sees: The clean clip and its license are in your library.

The creator sees: Your rate is released.

  2. Completed

The brand sees: You leave a public review for the creator.

The creator sees: You get paid in the next payout run and leave a private review of the brand.

The brand

  • Chooses the creator
  • Pays at acceptance
  • Leaves feedback
  • Approves the delivery

The creator

  • Applies to campaigns
  • Confirms the annex
  • Films
  • Delivers the versions
  • Makes the revisions

The platform

  • Generates the contract
  • Holds payment until approval
  • Processes the clips
  • Pays the creator

The Reel Up team

  • Verifies creators and companies
  • Resolves disputes
  • Runs managed projects

Clear rules for both sides

The rules are written into every project's contract and are the same for everyone.

  • Two revisions includedTimestamped feedback, new versions on the same page. The third revision is paid at the creator's rate.
  • Automatic approvalWith no answer from the brand within 5 business days, the delivery is approved and the money released.
  • DisputeEither side can open one. The team decides on full payment, partial payment or a refund, with the history at hand.
  • The creator's deadline starts at funding or when the parcel arrives, not at acceptance.
  • The full brief, assets and chat open after funding.
  • Cancellation is free until funding. After funding and before delivery we refund in full minus shipping.
